Early Period

In “Feed the Need” Jaisini continues to show his passion for idea to supply inspiration and need to create. The marvelous thing about allegorical meaning here is that it could only mean one thing: don’t try to feed the predators.

The artist turns wisdom into a source for his enclosed composition of unending line. The work has two tonal background values.

The right part has dark background where the figure of lion is light in weight and color that also carry symbolic meaning of the animal’s nobility.

The background color of lustrous brown associates with soil and sable fur and insures positive reaction to the ‘mother earth’ tonality of the brown.

The left part of background is contrasting light color with the portrayed hyena pack of darker tone. The darker tone of hyenas decreases in value in the center where the background is a plain white of grounded canvas that associates with daylight.

Here in the center a separated red accent draws attention to the strong grip of a hand that holds a drumstick. It is drawn laconically but expressively.

A single hand can denote a personification of God.

This hand with the drumstick could read symbolically profound remaining humorous.

The two packs of beasts face each other in what slightly reminds a rampant combatant position of heraldic animals.

The picture itself seems to be a heraldic sign of our times with continuing quest to understand the fight of the principles, good with bad, evil and godly, cynical and innocent.
